  The guided meditation at the beginning of the session really helped me to forget about work. I felt like I was at peace, laying back on the sand on a Caribbean beach. How I wish! Then, Andrew massaged my scalp. I did not realize how much tension I actually held there.
  
  What followed next was an hour of gentle relaxing massage. He knows when to work the knuckles a little deeper, and when to just let his forearms glide over my skin.
  
  I am not a connisseur of massage, having gotten relatively few professional ones in my life. But I felt totally at ease in the office called U Kneada Massage. Don't expect a spa, with robes, and candles. The office is nicely decorated with soft blue and green colors, and his private treatment rooms each have a separate flair to them. They are softly lit by a salt lamp, which gives a relaxing orange glow to the room.
  
  I recommend the longer session, which he calles the “Paradise Treatment” and includes the meditation, scalp massage, along with a concentration on the neck and shoulders. I know that I needed that, certainly other stressed people on Long Island can use it. At an hour and 10 minutes (unless he forgets about the time, and goes over) it was a big treat for me.
